The Minnesota Vikings are sending representatives to check out Brett Favre.  Why, are we wasting more time pursuing this man?  He is a empty bucket with little incentive for the

Today wasn’t anything particularly special.  I woke up at 8:00a.m., a full hour after my alarm went off, not awesome.  Turned on the TV to see more Brett Favre.  His face, his grizzle and red jersey.  It seems that all the footage of Brett playing in Packer colors has been wiped off the face of the earth.

Does anyone believe the Minnesota Vikings wouldn't be better with Brett Favre?  Of course some do but I don't, his pre-madonna motivation to reign the Vikings to a Superbowl simply to spite his former GM is going to carry him far enough.  That type of attitude isn't for the

I was sick to my stomach when i heard we had the deal between us and the texans became final and that we had landed sage rosenfels to compete with T-jack. After we lost to philly in the playoffs and childress said he wanted to bring in a person to compete with jackson, i thought he was just saying that to make jackson feel like he still was in the running. And i assumed that they would bring in a real quaterback such Cassel, Garcia, Warner, or a Leftwhich to run the team next year. But turns out Chilly wasnt lying he did get a guy that would compete at the same level of Jackson, which isnt saying much.

So it might not come down to this, but the Vikings (6-5 overall, 2-2 in the division) need to win on Sunday Night Football this weekend against the Bears (6-5, 3-1) to win the NFC North.

Yes, if they lose they will be a game back with four games to go; however, we would have lost both games to Da Bears and lose any tie-breaker, essentially being two games back with four to go. Throw in the fact that the Packer face a Carolina team that can be beat and the

The Vikings can bless the Saints for their work this season.

On Monday Night Football two months ago, somehow the Saints managed to blow a game to the 1-3 Vikings 30-27. the win was the start of Minnesota's current 5-2 run. Back on MNF, the Saints helped the

Since Mr. Reggie Bush has been in the League he has been in the new a lot. From the Scandal at USC, to dating Kim Kardashian, to being over-hyped. Last night he was in it for the right reasons. During the Monday Night Game The Saints VS the Viking, it was build as Peterson Vs Bush, and everybody thought that All Day was going to do just that and run all day and night against the saints and that lowly defence. To everyone's surprise it was Mr. Bush that sole the show with almost 300 yards of total offence which is more that twice the Kansas City put up in the defeat at the paws of my Carolina Panthers Sunday. In the second he took over the game in i way in my 27 years i never seen a scat back as the call him do with two punt returns that he was clocked at running over 21 mph with 20lbs of equipment on.Reggie Bush no matter what they try to call him scat back, specialty player, or whatever  he is none other that a football player.  He single took the game over and if it was for the saint kicking game and their penants and turnovers they would have won the game. He also set two NFL records most receptions by a player to start a carrer, and two punt returns in the same game is one also he hold that with others. Since he has been drafted they have been waiting for him to live up to the hype. Let me be the first to tell you the wait is over. Church

Well, folks, the 2008-2009 NFL season is creeping upon us, and the Minnesota Vikings still do not have that number one quarterback. Sure, Brad Childress will say that Tavaris is his man, but as any Viking fan will tell you, his performance over the last two seasons has been less-than-stellar. Although the young quarterback has only started one full season, the Minnesota faithful realize that this team is Super Bowl bound, if only they could settle on a quarterback. Who should it be? Tavaris Jackson? Gus Frerotte? John David Booty? Let us weigh the pros and cons of T. Jax.

Last year the draft santa was kind to Vikings fans as we awoke to find an Adrian Peterson under the tree. This years draft doesn't look to provide a gift quite as exciting as the NFL offensive rookie of the year in 2007 but there's no doubt this is one of the most important drafts for the Vikes in quite awhile.

Though a newbie to the world of blogging, I am anything but new to the world of Vikings. A devoted fan for over 30 years (though never a MN resident), I have passionately paid very close attention to the comings and goings of eveything important concerning the Minnesota

Welcome, Minnesota Viking fans, to the heart of darkness.  There is no light at the end of this tunnel.  No pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.  Just pain, misery, heartbreak and 8-8 seasons.  If you tune in to this blog, you will come to know how my 35 years of existence on this earth have been tainted by my fandom, by a blind loyalty to a team than tantalizes, that teases, that brings you to the brink of ectasy, and then brings you crashing to the earth like a Chris Kluwe punt.
